Job Summary

    The farmers coordinator will be in charge with setting and coordinating the farmers' associations to reach the goals established in the project.

Position Requirements

    • Economics / Business Administration / Degree in Agricultural Engineering (desirable) or Veterinary Medicine.
    • At least 1 year of previous experience in similar positions.
    • Prefer a certificate in Project Management PMP / PMD.
    • High skill in communicating with others.
    • Ability to show the institution in a good way.
    • Adhere to humanitarian relief standards.
    • Excellent skill in building relationships with people, communicating, managing remotely.
    • Leadership skills - supervision - planning - motivation - communication - time management.
    • High level of problem-solving ability and skill in decision-making.
    • High skill in writing reports.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, execution dates, and tasks efficiently.
    • Teamwork, high level of flexibility, adaptation to work environment and new environment, and handling workloads.
    • High skill in computer programs especially MS-OFFICE.
    • Speed in learning and self-development.

Responsibility

    • Identification Activities locations.
    • Setup the association structure.
    • Develop a field work plan for the entire project activities, including:
    • Identify the field supervisor responsible for each activity and involve it in developing the plan to increase efficiency of implementation.
    • Identify the activities to be carried out, the chronology and the reporting dates for these activities for the field project manager so that he is fully informed (planned - completed) as planned.
    • Clarifying the overall objectives and approach of each activity and the potential risks of implementation and alternative plans to overcome these risks.
    • Direct supervision of the daily implementation through follow-up work with field supervisors and provide support and assistance when needed.
    • Distribution of the daily tasks of the team members after consultation with the field supervisors so as not to cause any conflict of work between the activities and make the best use of the team.
    • Follow-up of the commitment of all employees to work in terms of days of work and leave and the day-to-day tasks of the villages of the project.
    • Care to perform tasks properly through direct control in the office or field or through the examination of reports.
    • Communicate directly with the local councils and clearly define the activities of the project and agree on coordination to facilitate the work of field supervisors and work well.
    • Continuing communication with the logistics department in the activities that require logistical support (contracting with cars - contracting service providers - securing materials) and ensuring that they follow up with them as soon as possible in order to support the implementation of the activities and complete their logistic needs.
    • Communicating with the financial department regarding raising the project's disbursement schedules (CFW's disbursements - farmers 'disbursements - suppliers' disbursements) and any possible financial matters.
    • Communicate with the program coordinator in the office of Idlib and Aleppo and keep him informed of the progress of the project activities and request support from him when needed in some matters related to the work of the project.
    • Communicate daily with the project manager and inform him about the work in general.
    • Periodic reports (weekly - monthly) which provide a detailed explanation of the progress of work in the project activities in terms of planned and implemented.
