Job Summary

    WATAN Economic Recovery Program will mainly focus on four intervention categories:

     

    1- Enterprise and Market Systems Development

    2- Provision of Financial Services

    3- Employment and Labor Markets Support

    4- Asset Distribution and Restoration (Value Chain, Markets support)

    The program manager will oversee the planning and delivery of program’s projects and its related MEAL activities, manage the program team, ensure proper integration and achievement of the projects in line with organization strategies, and oversee the planning and achievement of business development activities related to the program, represent WATAN in coordination and relevant program meetings with donors and coordination bodies.

Position Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree on Business Administration (or any other related major).
    • Fluent in Arabic & English (strong written and verbal skills).
    • Holds a PMP certification.
    • 3 years at least in project management in the civil society organizations.
    • Good remote management skills.
    • High communication skills and presentation. high managerial skills.
    • Report writing skills.
    • Knowledge of follow-up financial matters.

Responsibility

    Program Manager will be responsible mainly for:

    •  Plan for the overall program and its departments in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
    •  Lead strategy development and vision for protection within WATAN Protection program.
    •  Working to secure funding for projects under supervision and managing the relation with the donor to secure the financial sustainability stability of program·
    • Develop new and sustainable initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organization
    •  Ensure all programmatic, contractual, and donor requirements and WATAN standards of care are met.
    •  With input from the Development Programs Director and program staff, establish and implement annual and long-term goals and objectives to successfully achieve outcomes related to Economic Empowerment Program.
    • Monitor program goals and take appropriate intervening action to ensure contractual compliance and goal attainment.
    • Ensure the design and implementation of a program-wide evaluation framework to assess the strengths and areas of needed improvement for each programmatic area.
    • Guarantee accurate and timely financial and client-related record keeping throughout the program, including the use of WATAN systems.
    • Ensure oversight and monitoring of case files for proper file documentation.
    • Supervises, coaches, and supports Economic Empowerment program supervisors/leads .
    • Provides career development and learning opportunities to Economic Empowerment staff to build the service delivery leadership strengths of all within the program.
    • Sustain and grow partnerships with the local business community and other strategic partners to maximize their coordination, cooperation, and support.
    • Represent Economic Empowerment in the community and to potential funders, serving as a resource to those seeking information about program activities.
    • In coordination with the Finance Manager develop and monitor department, program, and grant budgets.
    • Develop funding proposals for the program to ensure the continuous delivery of services.
